Ms. Kharlap graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, with a Juris Doctor degree and a Family Law Certificate. Before studying law, Ms. Kharlap attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Humanities and Justice Studies. While studying for her Bachelors, Ms. Kharlap worked as a personal injury paralegal, and, later, while in law school, she clerked for a personal injury law firm, giving her a total of over 10 years of experience in personal injury. Furthermore, during law school, Ms. Kharlap participated in the Unemployment Compensation Benefits Claims and Appeal Hearings Practitioner Clinic where she worked on pro bono cases and represented clients, under close supervision of a practicing attorney, in all stages of their unemployment compensation claims. In addition, Ms. Kharlap is originally from Belarus, a country of former USSR, and is fluent in Russian.
